  • Last week, our Eco Project welcomed staff and students from the DSTC Science Club. This is the first group of students who have come to use the Eco Project for a study, accessing the space to learn about the wildlife in and around our pond. Students spent time between pond-dipping and wildlife spotting. The skies were blue and the sun was out, making it perfect weather for assessing how many bees, butterflies and beetles were active. The pond was clear thanks to the successful planting acting as natural filters, so our students were able to get a good look at the insects that use the water. The Eco Project has become a thriving place for wildlife and we are exceptionally proud that more students will use the area to learn more about sustainability.
