Congratulations to all DSTC Year 11 students on their results, they mark a fantastic achievement with yet another year of sustained improvement in results. 

This year schools were informed that the results would reflect the challenges students have faced following the pandemic and that the grade boundaries would be set higher than the exams in 2019 but lower than the Teacher Assessed Grades of 2021.

We are delighted with the incredible improvement to all of the headline results at DSTC - bucking the national trend and exceeding the Teacher Assessed grades of 2021.

75% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and Maths (up 6% on 2021)

53% of students achieved a grade 5 or above in English and Maths (up 6% on 2021)

We are also pleased to report some outstanding achievements by our students in their qualifications this summer.

Extra congratulations go to Saranthaki P, Daisy M, Rithicaa, Akshaya A and Chloe J for their fabulous results in Further Maths GCSE. The girls completed this qualification by attending before and after school lessons with the maths department and with lots of independent work at home.

 

These fantastic results reflect the hard work of the students, their families and all staff at DSTC as well as the ambition and aspiration we have for all of our community. These results mark a stellar year for DSTC alongside our continued growth at Post 16, the success of our OFSTED inspection and the post-pandemic return of the many wonderful opportunities and experiences that allow our students to develop into educated and empowered citizens of the future.
